Smooth, Swift and Sustainable Transportation
Now, I’m no Bradley Wiggins, but there’s no need to be a cycling extraordinaire when it comes to e-bikes. If you’re based in a city, you may have noticed JUMP bikes dotted around town. With their fluorescent red and oversized frames, it’s hard to miss them. Although at first these bikes can be quite intimidating, especially when you’re trying to lug the 5 stone frame off the pavement… once you’re on the road they’re incredibly smooth, swift and effortless. The moment your feet hit the pedal you’re given a little boost, that ramps up slowly as you ride. The electric assist is so effective that you can even hit 20MPH without breaking a sweat.
Of course, electric bikes aren’t as environmentally friendly as a good old-fashioned bicycle. But for those of you looking to get to work without putting on your sweats, e-bikes are vastly more sustainable than driving, taking the bus and even the train. In fact, an e-bike is 6 times more efficient than riding a train!
They’re also a brilliant way of avoiding crowded public transport during the Covid era..
With Lime’s (owner of Lime and Jump Bikes) recent announcement that they will be partnering with NativeEnergy to make it’s entire fleet of electric bikes completely “carbon free”, I can’t think of a reason why you wouldn’t want to give it a go.
So why not jump on a JUMP on your next commute into work. I can assure you, they won’t disappoint.
